The recipients of this scholarship will be a student properly enrolled in Geosciences in the College of Science, Technology, and Math at Fort Hays State University majoring in Geology with plans to pursue a career in the gas and oil industry. Preference will be given to students who show initiative and leadership and work to their potential in the classroom, and students who show financial need
